Children's Counselling
Children's counselling provides a safe and supportive environment for children to express themselves and explore their emotions. Sessions utilize a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) framework combined with relaxation techniques to help children better understand their emotions, thoughts, and physical responses.
Through counselling, children develop essential skills to regulate their emotions and respond to challenging situations more effectively. Parents are actively involved in the process and receive guidance after each session to support their child in integrating these skills into daily life.
Fees
The cost is $175 per hour, with coverage available through most insurance providers.
Adolescent Counselling
Adolescent counselling provides support for teenagers navigating challenges such as body image issues, anxiety, depression, stress, parental divorce, peer relationships, bullying, and other difficulties.
Through a tailored blend of therapeutic approaches, including Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adolescents learn valuable skills to regulate their emotions effectively. These skills can contribute to improved academic performance, stronger family relationships, and enhanced self-esteem.
